I need help with listening practice. What sites would be of help? I have tried ieltsonlinetests.com and will still use it for practice. My Youtube is not opening again, I dont know why.

Uninstall YouTube and download again. Search for Cambridge IELTS listening test 1-12

I started working in September 2011; I did NTI PGDE (part time) in 2012 and I got the certificate in 2013 and I'm still working in the organisation till today.

I am claiming points for the NTI PGDE.

It is not an issue. You will choose part-time for the program when creating your profile.

It depends on you. Despite the fact that I didn't claim points for the work experience, I included the LOE because I wanted to play safe and to avoid any ADR.

GS,

That's very thorough of you.

What will you make out of this scenario: Job experience spanning from 2008-2016 (8 years) with 2 years part-time MBA in between (2012-2014) that job experience.

Meanwhile, in filling the profile, it was declared that the MBA was achieved part-time...

Is the above scenario capable of reducing CRS while the application enters processing? Your thoughts are appreciated. Merci

Dont forget: Processing Officers at the CIO recalculate your CRS (re-checking each of your factors) to ensure that it is enough to get ITA during the draw that ITA was given to you.

It will end in praise IJN!

Before my present job I have spent a year each in two other jobs but in my present job I have spent 6 Years
So that's the only job I will be getting marks for. So do I have to get employment details letter for the previous jobs even though I'm not getting any point from them and they are even. In a different NoC from my present job.

I'm thinking it will stress me getting letters from the previous jobs especially the bank job I have left about 8 years ago.

Studying part-time while working full-time is not an issue at all. It is when the applicant is working full-time and at the same time, studying full-time that is advisable to include LOE.

Hello, I am working on migration to Canada, and I understand that I need to do Education Assessment, and on getting to the payment section, I find out I'm to pay with credit card, I would like to know if I can make use of my Debit card to make such payments. I would be in the comments section. TIA.

I haven’t. I was told I would get an email. I think I read somewhere the timeline was 7 weeks or 13 weeks. Not sure right now.

Maybe I will go to their office on Tuesday

So I went to BC office today and it turns out that they already had my results but failed to send mail as promised. They sent the mail while I was there. I also met someone who only got the mail after she called them last week and they confirmed they had her result.

This is regarding the EOR just in case. So for anyone waiting for feedback, I advise you just call.

Please raise a CSE immeidately, it definitely matters.

Guess it depends on who is reviewing your file. I didn't include the finger print page and from my GCMS notes and the notes of the officer. My UK PLC and Nigerian PCC were marked fine. Criminality passed as well

Hello Nairaland people. I have a public service announcement:

If you’ve applied and haven’t attended a Planning For Canada session, DO IT NOW!

It was amazing and more info than you can handle. I will happily pay 60k for that session but it was somehow free. When I saw 8am to 4pm, I thought “what can they have to say to us for that long?” But we used every minute and it was so worth it.

They told us that they are indeed pulling the program in August so it’s probably only the last batch that’s available. Go and apply now if you haven’t, you shan’t regret it.

P.S. There’s tea break and buffet lunch. All free!

My first post since 2015 or so.
You may need to go to Futa or send someone to the exams and records to sort out things for you.
Good luck!
