Nigerian Breweries Plc today is officially launching its new beer brand Tiger into the Nigerian ever growing beer market at the Muri-Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The launching of Tiger is a major step towards deepening the company’s presence in the country as well as excites its numerous consumers with the new brand.

Tiger, a dominant brand of Heineken Asia Pacific is expected to hit the Nigerian market any moment from now. Tiger was acquired by HEINEKEN in 2012.

A source who spoke on the condition of anonymity said that Nigerian Breweries Plc had already launched the new beer brand in-house to its employees yesterday (Thursday).

According to the source, “we did the internal launch of the brand and as you know, Tiger is an international beer brand; so we are officially launching it in Nigeria today.

“Nigerian Breweries Plc is committed to serving the Nigerian consumers and we will always introduce new brands that are favorable to them,” the source said.

Tiger is a leading beer brand in Singapore and it has various variants such as Tiger beer, Tiger Black &Tiger White, Tiger Extra Fresh, Tiger Silver, Tiger Radler Grapefruit and Tiger Radler Lemon.
