Please I need a clarification on getting point from partner's skill.

I want to apply for 189 and 190(Victoria)

My occupation is on MLTSSL with visa sub-classes (186, 189 (PT), 190, 407, 485 (GW),489 (F), 489 (S/T), TSS (M))

My partner occupation is also on MLTSSL but visa sub-classes of (186, 407, TSS (M))

Which implies that her occupation in not under 189 and 190.

In addition, her occupation is not also listed under Victoria occupation list which I want to apply for.

The question now is: CAN I CLAIM THE 5 POINTS FROM HER? Since we are under same occupation list of MLTSSL.

Hello guys, please I want to lodge for Eoi my wife is suppose to give me 5 point , but must she have 6 in all band in her English score? Because she has 5.5 in reading and listening while others are above 6.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 12:30am On Jul 27, 2018
@Milkytins,

You cannot get partner's point from your wife. The occupation must be on the same list as per subclass level.

PlanofGod:
Age: (25 points)
Education: (20 points)(ANZSCO
Code) - 133111 - Construction Project Manager
IELTS: L8.0, S7.5, W7.5, R7.5 (10 points??)/I could put in for PTE to get 20 points if necessary.
Work: 3yrs+ (5 Points)

My main question is that I have a 5yr degree, MSc both in Estate Management, and a PhD in Construction and Project Mgt all earned in Nigeria Universities.

Please, with 70/65 points what are my chances of getting a direct ITA (subclass 190) for construction project manager?

Also, how can I avoid having 1 year deducted from years of experience?

Finally, if all of the above fails, please from your experience which subclass 189 do you recommend that is straightforward and fast, and can accommodate my profile with the following points: 55 points or 65 points (assuming I lost 1 year from vetassess assessment).

Thank you for your help in advance.

Hi, For starters, I don not see a way to avoid the compulsory 1 year deduction from your years of experience as you must have at least 1 year post qualification to be assessed. Also, how relevant is Estate management to Construction Project supervisor.??. General management degrees without underpinning or related studies in construction/civil engineering or building would not usually be positively assessed for this occupation according to VETASSESS.
Also, Since its a visa 190, you cant get a direct ITA. You will need to be nominated by States in demand for your occupation.
You stand a fair chance if you are able to get maximum points with English and even after VETASESS deducts their one year only from your 3yrs+ experience,as long as you are still employed in this occupation, you can reclaim your 5 points after some extra months.

Other occupations I know Estate mgt can nominate is Valuer (not sure if its still on the list) This is really not my forte grin

Hopefully more experienced folks can weigh in and advise you accordingly.

Please, can I get the job sites. I need them asap. Did you only provide job advert with exact job title as the one assessed with or you also provided the highly similar ones. Because, their website request for the exact job title.

Yeah. She must have competent English before you can claim partner points. A minimum of 6.0 in IELTS or 50 in PTE. And that is even after she has done her assessment and her occupation is on the same list as yours.

Good morning SIRs and MAs.
Please I have few questions and I'll be glad if people with maybe similar experience can make time out from their busy schedule to assist.
I already have my positive assessment with EA (experience wasn't assessed) since March this year, and I'm planning to rewrite my PTE in two week's time.
My questions........
1. Due to present situation of things, I want to apply for both Visa 489 and 189, as I'm currently at 55 points, but hopefully this will rise to 65 and probably 70 with experience. Am I to do this with the same EOI or separate EOIs for both? If separate, should I use my second email to register for the other one? Lastly, Is having more than one EOIs an offence?
2. Also, I graduated in 2014, but I have just worked as a professional Engineer since December 2016. However, in my current workplace, I was an engineer intern from June, 2015 before I became a full staff (Only have appointment letter to show for this since I was paid by hand, at times not paid at all self). However, I have every documents for the full time position, more than they can ask for even. My question is, can I get 5 points with this experience?

Let me stop here for now. Thanks so much in anticipation of your answers.

Good afternoon house ,please a friend of mine is trying to get his permanent permit but it's not forth coming so he was advised to seek asylum or marry a white woman who is a citizen. Please what's the probability that either of them will work out. I need advice from people who are residing there. Thanks

I don't know the advice you seek. I believe your friend will know better to seek for advice as he is the one involved.

I don't advice people to do illegal things.

Hello all, I am new and impressed with this thread. I am General medical practitioner and seeking Australia PR.
I am also a doctor -a pathologist.
There are 2 ways of going about you can go as a Dr.-several options medical practitioner nec, specialised physician nec, physician, resident medical officer,
Or you can go as a primary health organising manager, pathology collector, and other health allied proffesionals

Personally chose medical laboratory scientist and waiting for visa 489 Northern territory.

Also check area of need assessment.

It's tough for a doctor but doable.

Explore spouse as primary applicant also.
