I know some of the "build industry" crew would soon start landing here. Pls jejely face ur govt, much of the money building Nigerian churches aren't even exclusively provided by Nigerians by the way.

Churches build Hospitals, Schools and Orphanages not industry. Churches don't collect allocation from govt so don't presume you can tell them what to spend on.

Good project. I have no problem with things a group of individuals do collectively with their wealth as long as it doesn't affect others negatively.
To me, the church is like an importation group of Nairaland or market women who form society then contribute to buy matching attires.
We have a govt that hijacks our commonwealth to empower those killing Christians yet we keep quiet about it and focus on a group that doesn't affect us.

Lol true. Once a project is done by a group of people voluntarily then let them live with their choice rather than giving us epistles on how industry should be built.

Just imagine if a church builds an auto industry, you would start hearing things like this from some stupid Nigerians "how can church build an auto industry with money of the poor yet the poor cannot afford to buy the car" grin

Some would even say the church is the problem of their village. Yet when you ask the how they either blurt out usual meaningless statements or keep shut.

I live in Port Harcourt and I must say God is truly using the man of God Pastor David Ibieyomie to change lives.

He is a replica of Bishop Oyedepo in Port Harcourt. Same grace, Same unction.

May God continue to strengthen His Generals.

Don't open your mouth to say poor peoples money here o. No one can do God's work for Him, God is strictly behind this project.

We need good affordable housing

These churches are too much... Haba

In a country where the government is non existent
And the youths are headless
It falls on the church to save the day

Enough of the expansion of business centers and help humanity....
You will be baffled by what European churches do in Africa and other Third World countries...

These people need to do more than compete for the best edifice in the land

Human beings are insatiable. Even if they do more you would still demand for even more.

WORLD CLASS being used as a description of this secondary school shows they are already doing more unlike the usual local classroom blocks your state governments enjoy parading as achievements.

In the kingdom of God as Christians, we believe in the spirit of excellence and that is what is happening here.

Business is booming.
Meanwhile, prosperity ministry will continue to flourish until citizens starts experiencing natural benefit of government such as: better healthcare, affordable food/shelter, security, jobs, etc.

Until then, Hope & faith will continue to be sold at a very high cost by religious leaders

Ask your government for schools, affordable housing, etc. Don't come to Nairaland to criticize people that are making impact in the society. If you are not satisfied with what you are getting, change your government. Protest. Start a revolution. Leave the church alone.

The "industry" crew will soon come to start their rants.

They will say "Nigeria needs companies not church. Later they will say " that church is a business center "

Isn't a business center a company? grin

Whichever way you look at it, the building of the church got people employed to build it and will have many other people employed to maintain it.

What exactly is their rants about.

Confused and frozen lots.
