Music executive, Ubi Franklin has reacted to the allegation leveled against his artiste, Tekno, by singing veteran music duo, Mad Melon and Mountain Black popularly known as 'Danfo Drivers'  that he sampled their song 'Jogodo' without their consent or even reaching out to them. Read here.

Ubi in his reaction, said his team contacted the duo but it was one story or the other from them.

Without ralising it, this Ubi guy is quietly arrogant. Can you imagine such dust and disrespect (to the danfo guys) he's spewing in one sentence?

Those guys should get a good lawyer. Ubi and Techno will be so roasted, maimed and dazed that they may be wobbling, musically and financially, on one foot after all is done. It's a straightforward case. Get a good lawyer for a hefty payday for yourselves and the lawyer sef.

In the meantime, the lawyer should get an injunction banning any commercial use of the Tecno theft song, air play or public performance. Danfo drivers, abeg no dull yourself. This is your chance. Grab it with both hands with a smart lawyer. I can get you one. It's a simple case, heavily in your favour. I've listened to both songs and I know what I'm saying.
