Yes, MOTO GP is a racing competition and a MOTOrcycle racing hence the name. More info

I'm generally on-and-off with it so I do not have that in-depth knowledge of it as I do F1 or Tennis. As usuall Valentino is still the guy to beat. He was terribly unfortunate not win the title last season at the last race which I think may just have spurred him on even more to win it this year.

MotoGP

Is a Grand Prix Motocycles racing event just like F1 rally, Dakar Rally, Nascar Races . It usually take place in the europe, middle east, Asia.

Nikky Hayden was the champion for last season. Valentino Rossi would have been the champion for the last season but he came second due to his crashes in he had in China, France, USA and his fair performances toward the end of the season.

Presently, Valentino Rossi still has the highest Fan in the world.

Hopefully he will win this season's event.

The event usually takes place every year

Honestly, if you become addicted to the event. You will always wish you had known something like that before now.  The sport is good for an Adrenalin junky.

Moto GP is the best thing in this world. I don't ever miss it.
Re: Moto GP 2007 (Motorcycle Racing Season) by jiggy250(m): 4:55pm On Mar 18, 2007
The power of Stoner's Ducati Desmosedici on the start-finish straight made all the difference, Rossi's Yamaha was no match for the Ducati on the straights but i see him clinching the champs - more experienced, consistency & improved bike.

It is nice to see that we have some motoGP fans in Nigeria, i am a serious fan and am planning to watch at least one race live this year,( am saving toward it), i have followed motoGP since 2001 and never missed a race and i even got myself a bike last year, i am life supporter of the doctor (you can see this from my Rossi 46 helmet). the engine capacity has been reduced from 990cc to 800cc this year, so all sort of thing are bound to happen with this new engine size from all the teams, stoner's ducati may have straight line advantages but racing is much more than straights,  usually sunday morning races about every 2 weeks in between races, worth it if you need some new interest in your life, attached are the 2007 team racers

Today's 125cc is awesome. And the 250cc is just the best ever. What will the MotoGP be like?
Re: Moto GP 2007 (Motorcycle Racing Season) by nazzyon(m): 12:11pm On Mar 25, 2007
125cc: Talmacsi, Pesek, Faubel

250cc: Lorenzo, Bautista, Dovisioso

Who will be the winner for today's MotoGP race?
Re: Moto GP 2007 (Motorcycle Racing Season) by nazzyon(m): 6:14pm On Mar 25, 2007
The Doctor is at it again.

He won today's race. Crossed the line @ 45'53.340.

I expected Casey to show his face today but the Rossi just lost him totally. Well I am looking forward to another win from the Doctor in Week 3

And hopefully Alvaro Bautista will challenge and win the next 250cc race. Jorge Lorenzo has already won twice.

the catalunya gp is no doubt the best race i've seen this year- and i mean both two & four wheel racing, i'm a rossi fan but i think casey stoner has really come of age, rossi raced well but it wasnt to be, the ducati is still better tuned than the yamaha i think but dont take anything away from stoner, and he's just 21? season of the young guns i guess, Stoner in moto gp & L.Hamilton in F1, didnt watch the 250cc,
Re: Moto GP 2007 (Motorcycle Racing Season) by dinozzo(m): 11:55am On Jun 13, 2007
wow it was exciting, i was at the edge of my sit through out the whole race. Stoner is very talented and is proving a very formidable compeititor for Rossi. He seems to have a better bike has you can see when they go on a stretch. I feel the Motogp is more exciting than the F1. So many maneuvers going on to overtake.
Re: Moto GP 2007 (Motorcycle Racing Season) by nazzyon(m): 12:48am On Jun 14, 2007
The only reason why Stoner is beating V Rossi is because of his bike. Come to think of it, a person like V Rossi on the Ducati. Just imagine what will happen.

A whole race win through out this season. Even with Ducati around, I believe Da Doctor still has lots in stock.

Just wait and see.

If the race continues the way it is right now. Valentino will win, because all the bikers are really at the top of their game.

Remember how the last season ended?
Re: Moto GP 2007 (Motorcycle Racing Season) by nazzyon(m): 3:08pm On Aug 05, 2007
Casey Stoner still up on the table leading Valentino Rossi with a wooping 44 point

1 Casey Stoner 221

2 Valentino Rossi 177

And yet another MotoGP season is going to an end nd having Casey Stoner Leading the GP series and Vanlentino Rossi dragging close to another decision a new World Super Bike Champion is also planning to move into MotoGP next season.

There has been series of rumours that this extremely fastastic rider is planning to sign a contract with the presently leading Manufacturer in MotoGP HONDA but of recent he declared is siging with Yamaha Tech 3.

The of this Guy is JAMES TOSELAND. He has won the championship and presently leading the on going World Super Bike Championship 2007.

If any manufacturer is ready to design a machine, the awesome Toseland is ready to ride it till it breaks.

So Watchout this guy in the next MotoGP 2008 season.
