Major World Religions, And Their View On The Afterlife. by RuthlessLeader(m): 10:11am On May 14, 2018
There are over 7 billion people in the world today and all of them are in a competition to see who is right. What most religious people don`t consider is how their correctness affects each other.

1.)Christians: 2,100,000,000 adherents
If they are correct, over 4.9 billion people will burn in hell forever without a chance of redemption, this includes children as well. This is without confronting the fact that there are over 33000+ denominations with different beliefs and doctrines and many christians still lead a sinners life.

2.)Muslims: 1,500,000,000 persons
If they are correct, over 5.5 billion people go to jahannam when they die, of course disregarding those muslims who break Allah`s laws.

3.)Of no religion: 1,100,000,000 Human Beings
If they are correct, nobody goes to any afterlife of punishment or one of enjoyment, because when we die we lose consciousness forever.

4.)Hindus: 900,000,000 adherents
If they are correct, all sinners( those who are not virtuous, devoted to charity, good people etc) go to Naraka where they are punished according to the severity of the sins they committed in life. After punishment, they are re-incarnated.

5.)Chinese folk religionists: 400,000,000 persons
If they are correct, sinners descend to hell, located at the base of Mount Meru. There they undergo a fixed period of punishment in one or more levels of hell. The duration of this punishment may be reduced by the intercession of the merciful Ti-ts'ang. When the punishment is complete, the souls in hell drink an elixir of oblivion in preparation for their next reincarnation. They then climb on the wheel of transmigration, which takes them to their next reincarnation, or, in an alternative account, they are thrown off the bridge of pain into a river that sweeps them off to their next life.

6.)Primal religionists: 400,000,000 Human Beings
If they(whichever one) are correct, well, you will just have to wait and die first cause I am not even sure self.

7.)Buddhists: 375,000,000 adherents
If they are correct, sinners who end up in hell can can work themselves upward by making use of the merit that they had acquired previously. There are no locks on the gates of hell. Hell is a temporary place and there is no reason for those beings to suffer there forever. This is because buddhists believe that no man should be condemned eternally but that he should be given every chance to develop himself.

8.)Sikhs: 24,000,000 persons
If they are correct, they believe that both heaven and hell are unimportant places and that hell is forgetting god undecided .

9.)Jews: 14,500,000 Human Beings
If they are correct, EVERYBODY goes to a place known in the Bible as Sheol, where there is no punishment or reward. In fact, the more pessimistic books of the Bible, such as Ecclesiastes and Job, insist that all of the dead go down to Sheol, whether good or evil, rich or poor, slave or free man (Job 3:11-19)

10.)Baha'is: 7,400,000 adherents
If they are correct, then there is no physical place such as heaven or hell and that every religion that has those two concepts are meant to be understood symbolically, as they describe nearness to and from god. They believe that the soul is on an eternal journey to perfection.

11.)Jains: 4,300,000 persons
If they are correct, Depending on one's karma and level of spiritual development, death may mean being reborn in another physical appearance in the earthly realm, suffering punishment in one of eight hells or joining other liberated souls in the highest level of heaven. Unlike hell imagery in most other systems, the eight hells of Jainism become progressively colder as they go down. Suffering in these hells is not eternal. Once a soul has been severely punished, he or she is reborn into another form.

12.)Shintoists: 4,000,000Human Beings
If they are correct, you're expected to make your own heaven on earth. Many Shintoists find this a bit lacking so they belong to another religion to take care of the afterlife and use Shinto to take care of this life. This doesn't cause any conflict because Shintoists believe that other religions' Gods are just another Kami. They do this because Shinto is a practical religion that focuses on harmony between nature and society using the Kami to cement the relationship. Shintoists believe that everything starts out clean but picks up "spiritual dirt" along the way from negative thoughts, actions, and contamination by unclean substances (such as blood). Shinto rituals are designed to remove the contamination and restore the original clean state.

13.)Taoism: 2,700,000 adherents
If they are correct, Afterlife doesn't exist regarding a taoist belief system. A person is eternal in their own life means afterlife is just an another part of life or afterlife lies within life itself. When you alive: You are inside the plot of your time. You are both the hero and protagonist of your own. Basically, you have control over almost everything. When you die: You will go outside the plot means beyond your time. You will see it by not viewing, not experiencing anything at all. Your essence will develop new form & story.

According to Chuang-Tzu:

“Since life and death are each other’s companions,
why worry about them? All beings are one.”

Taoism is simply rational, well organized philosophy rather than a religion. There’s no nothing related with re-incarnation. You simply go to the Tao after your death but you’re already the part of it.

The tao that can be told is not an eternal tao. -Tao Te Ching cool
