The wife of the Associate Pastor , Living Faith Church, Gaa Imam , Ilorin Deaconess Gladys Eseyin and 3 other Deaconesses of the church were kidnapped by gun wielding men somewhere in Ekiti state on their way to Ilorin from Kogi state at about 5 p.m. on Saturday 12th May, 2018 and they were taken deep into a forest.

The gunmen later requested for a ransom of 5 Million Naira for each of their captors. But the Pastor put a call across to Bishop David Oyedepo at about 9 p.m. that night, who declared that all the captors shall be released within two hours.

At around 10.45 p.m. the gunmen returned all the belongings of the women to them and asked them to go.
