i've had sisterlocks 1 yr and few months.
to untangle slocks, u have to use detangling conditioner for like 4 days.
i know ladies who removed slocks and kept their long hair.
i love my slocks. best hair decision ever

*faints* 4 days- thats a hair retreat ( maybe when i'm reading for a exam)

Natural hair is so beautiful, I use to keep natural hair, but I couldn't anymore cos its hard to maintain it on campus, especially being in the U.S, Mi younger sist kept hers, Take a look at her picture, Everyone that sees her now in the U.S comments on her and they really love her, I wish I nver relaxed mine , Her hair is much more longer than this now

that said, her hair is beautiful and so is she.
The myth that natural hair is hard to maintain needs to be de-bunked
all one needs to do is know one's hair and with trial and error figure out what's best for the hair.
It's the same way we deal with things anyway. . . and might i add that natural hair is so versatile when it comes to styles irrespective of the length or type

Beyonce should come and see me, I will teach her how to blow that hair natural like mine lol

Finally decided to go all natural , didnt decide actually. Just went on braids/weave weave for a few months with no perm. . . . still short from the big chop. . . . hoping it'll grow more by the end of this year.

Is that your hair texture after BC?. . or u stil got some chemicals in?

My hair is curly, naturally. But to make big curls, I use natural shea butter [softens it up] and braid it over night.

Rake n smooth i mean sorry a lil bit of spellin mis-hap dia_oopsy. . . err,basically a process where u rake product in hair then smooth it down d length of hair,this brings out them lovly curls.

Concerning the braid-out,i've tried all sort. . . its just not workin for me,i think it has to do wit my hair texture,its shrinks oh so badly.I've not tried wit natural honey tho wil check that out.
