In 2016 many lives have been lost while properties worth millions of Naira has been destroyed allegedly by these Fulani marauders . It was gathered that the Fulani herdsmen move with their cattles across communities wreaking havoc. Further findings have also shown worse,still they do not respect the borders of the state. They did not only seek pasture but they inflict deaths and mayhem. Records have shown that not quiet long ago, the border town of Agbor in ika Local Government Area of Delta State was invaded by some Fulani herdsmen who killed a farmer and injured dozens of others. The farmer identified as Akiebua Samuel was killed because he complained against the invasion of his farm, it was also learnt that his elder brother, Mr. Awere Akiebua narrating their ordeal, said; “this is not the first time that people were slaughtered like cows on their home soil with impunity. My dear brother was killed simply because he protested the invasion of his farmland by the herdsmen.” Also, a mother of three was allegedly raped and killed by some suspected Fulani herdsmen at Owa village in same ika Local Government Area of Delta state. A pastor was said to have been killed for asking herdsmen to move their cattles out from his church open compound.
In ika north-east local govt area of Delta state Idumasar and Abavo the killer-herdsmen have killed several & women gang raped, wives and daughters raped while their family watched, a young boy by name Odahiekwu Emmanuel the only son of his aged parents was shot on his stomach while he tried to ecaspe the attack from the information gathered it was learnt that his home has been attacked for the third time. Reports have been filed to the relevant security agencies but not thing visible was done to checkmate the senseless killings,some of the villagers have fled,families missing/displaced from their homes.
Other towns and villages affected include igbodo,umunadi, aboh ogwashi, kwele, abbi & Ndokwa east and Ozzoro

But Wetin be this people problem sef, so for their mind they are stronger than the whole Nigeria that nobody can stop them? Time will tell.
