Federal Government Abandoned Road Project In Ilorin by DeOTR: 3:07pm On May 21, 2018
I was in Ilorin during the weekend and realized that a particular road project (about one kilometer or so) being on going for more than a year now, is still less than 40% completion. Suffice to say that the Contractor is not even on site any longer.

This is a major road, usually with heavy traffic. If you're not going to Lagos, Ogun, Oyo or the North, this is the only road leading out of Ilorin.
The road is in a more deplorable condition than it was, causing more pains to motorists, health hazards to residents, and with many businesses on lock down.

I'd like to use this medium to call the attention of the Federal Government (Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing in particular) to ensure the project in question is given proper attention and completed without further delay.

Project Details:

Project: Dualization of Michael Imoudu- Afon Junction- Ganmo Road.

Client: Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing.

Contractor: HMF Construction Solutions Limited.

Contract Number: 6292.
