I want to use this medium to call the attention of the general public to corrupt practices of the staffs and promoters of mobilenig.com.


Mobilenig.com is into data selling and other related services. I am one of the agents under them. Everything was going on fine between us apart from the usual delay in processing orders and poor customers relation until March 24th 2018 when I tried to urgently fund my wallet through UBA Mobile App.


My account was debited immediately and I contacted mobilenig.com through wattsapp as that's the only possible means of contacting them but the staff that attended to me claimed the payment did not reflect in their account and I should contact UBA to lodge my complaint which I did and the banks reply was forwarded to them indicating that the said transaction was successful and they should contact UBA if they still have any questions on the said transaction. mobilenig.com asked me to give them times to enable them contact UBA and till tomorrow any effort towards resolving the issue will be met with them feign ignorance of the issue at stake. I end up leaving the money for them and continue with my normal transaction.



On Friday 18th May, I tried funding my wallet again and the same thing occurred. mobilenig.com claimed they didn't receive the payment which is #2000 this time around and I was asked to contact UBA again which I did, the UBA staff confirmed the money was successful remitted to their account and I passed the information across to them but the staff claimed I need to provide my statement of account so they will be sure the payment was not reversed. It sound unbelievable but since I was determined not to be cheated again, I applied for my bank statement of account covering the previous transaction of March 24 and the recent one of May 18. The screenshot was sent to them only for their staff to be telling me I can't get a refund for the one of March 24th again and till the moment all effort towards them refund both the old outstanding transaction and the new one has been met with brick wall.

They are hellbent on not refund my money back to me and from investigation they are specialists in doing that as there are numerous threads on nairaland alone relating to customers complain of the same corrupt practices.




Edit : Issue resolved . mobilenig.com paid all the money into my wallet this morning.

Why not wait for them to deny all I wrote here instead of dabbling into want you're ignorant of? I was like you before but I can assure you and I am very sure you will soon find yourself in their trap.

I use mobilenig and the service is very excellent. If it were not so, I would have vehemently criticized u guys. But u guys need to work on training ur account managers. My account manager is a very excellent guy. My username is brumoss on mobilenig last 5 digits of mobile no 66999. U are most welcome. I have been a customer facing staff most of my working years in telecom firms, one thing I realised is that if a customer complains bitterly, let's compensate or refund such customer as he or she may annoyingly go to the media to batter the organisational image which can come at a huge cost.

so all the informations I have been giving on wattsapp which I still supplied after calling your staffs attention to this thread are useless? I copied the same helpdesk to the message I sent to UBA cfc and I received an automated reply that I will be contacted which your company never did. I will still give you guys the last benefit of doubt by supplying the needed informations but I am sick of supplying the same information when you know the issue won't be treated

Actually there are some noticeable improvement in the way customers service personnel relate to customers and at a point I was thinking their must have been changes in the personnel until this same issue occur again

Their latest scam is your order will be approved and the data will not be sent to your customer. Kindly note that i called the operator cc and confirmed that the data was not received by my client. The so called manager or rep is not helping matters.
