The first female chartered accountant in Nigeria, Chief Olutoyin Olakunrin, is dead.

She died at the age of 80. She was said to have passed on Sunday morning after she slumped during church service .

She was a foundation member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1965. She was married to Mr. Simeon Olakunrin, a senior advocate of Nigeria.

It is extremely silly for you to refer to the set of Akintola Williams as registered accountants. How dare you? Akintola Williams qualified as a Chartered Accountant and member of ICAEW in 1949 and you are here calling him a RA. Do you know the meaning of RA at all? Guy, better get some knowledge before commenting ignorantly on social media.

You are not a member of of our prestigious institute so stop lying. No ICAN member will refer to Mama Olakunrin and Akintola Williams as registered accountants. ICAN members also don't write the way you write. It is better you seek knowledge about the differences between a RA and a CA instead of spewing ignorant opinion on social media.
