A client of ours, in the food preparation & distribution industry, is looking to hire an ACCOUNTS OFFICER [ABUJA strictly].

Responsibilities::::
/// Summarize current financial status by collecting necessary information
/// Prepare financial reports
/// Assist consultant with tax audit exercise
/// File returns
/// Posting of transactions to the appropriate ledger
/// Reconcile of cash book and bank statement
/// Daily review of cash register
/// Analyze financial statements for management use
/// Keep and update fixed asset register
/// Monitor company's obligations for necessary action (Internal control)
/// Process daily payment request and post
/// Staff payroll management (statutory taxes, etc.)
/// Liaise with external auditor
/// Coordinate all statutory obligations- VAT, PAYE, etc



Qualifications::::
/// Intermediary level skills in Microsoft Excel and Office suite
/// 2 - 5 years of prior experience in similar capacity
/// Excellent leadership, critical thinking, communication and strategic planning skills
/// ACA or ACCA qualification is a highly essential/ a must.


Additional Info:
/// Knowledge & use of accounting package(s) is a plus.
