Just to discredit the president.. senator Abaribe is talking about December 31st 1983, as if it is the first coup that ousted a democratic government, when we have January 15 1966 coup(led by igbos),.
Its a shame on the PDP in 16years, did not recognized the day Nigerians decided to vote freely and fairly without prejudice or religious sentiment.A day that gave birth to agitation for democracy that PDP has enjoyed a lot....

The only reason Buhari kept mute about the 1983 coup was because he had issues with Shagari about not invading Chad, when his troops had advanced to over 50km into chad, Shagari was at the time ordering Buhari and his troops to stand down ,, when it was actually chad that invaded Nigeria at first..Buhari has always been patriotic about National Discourse..
