The composer; Ayo Oluranti as featured in the music scenes in USA, UK and Nigeria in last 30’s as a well known Music Scholar, Organist, Conductor and Theorist. He as composed many beautiful music in English and Yoruba. Some of his works are O come and Sing (SATB 2003), Ose O Jesu (SATB 1993), E je ka polongo (1991) and many more. The Music Messiah BabaMi is a popular choral music in Nigeria with the same Dodimu Music sheet by Yemi Akinpelu.

His composition’s as been performed in many countries such as North America, South America, Nigeria, Europe and Asia. Oluranti as successfully directed and designed both Pentecostal church music program and liturgical. He’s formerly a composer in Residence at St. Andrew’s Episcopal church in Pittsburgh, he also at the Pittsburgh Orchestra Festival.

Ayo as been a member of Bafrik and also a founding member of Alia Musica Pittsburgh. He formally a lecturer and teach at Tshwane University of Technology Pretoria in South Africa.

Ayo Ogunranti graduated with first class honors in Music composition and organ performance at the university of Southampton United Kingdom and earned Master Degree and PhD in Theory & Composition in United State of America at the University of Pittsburgh. He earned the General Musicianship Diploma in Ibadan at Ecumenical School Of Music and won many scholarship and Awards in Africa and Abroad such as St, Michael Organ Scholarship United Kingdom, Michael Jame’s Music Trust Award United Kingdom, Andrew Mellon Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in United State of America, Sidney Perry Award United Kingdom, Brenton Memorial Fund Grants United Kingdom and many more.

He formally a winner of Donald Sutherland Endowment Fund Composition Competition United State of America in 2009 and Many churches and Organisation have presented Awards to Oluranti for recognition to the growth of God.
