Fasting is declaration,resolution and a compulsory pillar of Islam imposed by Allah/God to the believers in order to attain spiritual reflection, improvement and increased devotion and worship

Muslim(s) in general can't force an individual to fast against his will,as the Quran clearly states that there should be "no compulsion in religion acts as the truth is henceforth clear from error"..but every individual will surely be held accountable for his/her action on the day of judgement

it's just like how the 10 commandments are imposed on Christian by jesus and how ull have to abide by them for salvation

I was initially wandering why such an odd contrast....then i got thinking...They were probably told to wear comfortable shoes to avoid any issue of soreness, blisters or ache.....I guess they are being cautious....

Trying to avoid any issues.....And since its a world cup, they also wanted to go looking cooperate and well groomed and dressed for the elements..hence the suits
