JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, smart and over achieving Sales Engineers with proven experience and a passion for selling industrial products / solutions to join our team. You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success for this role include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc. degree or HND in Mechanical/Electrical/Agricultural Engineering
• Sound technical knowledge combined with sales skills
• Ability to learn fast and acquire multiple skills
• Possess valid driver’s license and ability to drive
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent presentation and creativity skills
• Willingness to travel and explore business opportunities
• Basic knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
• Proven work experience as a sales Engineer is an added advantage for this role

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sending of quotation to customers, ensuring prompt delivery of products and managing all technical aspects of RFQ / RFI responses
• Offering after-sales support services to customers and travelling to visit potential clients
• Consult with end user / procurement team to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
• Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery as applicable
• Help clients to proffer solutions to solve problems identified with installed equipment in the plant
• Recommend improved service or product to customers, showing how proposed changes will lower costs or increase production
• Promoting and creating market awareness for the company’s products
• Equip yourself with the product knowledge of the various OEMs we represent to confidently explain the technical aspects of their product and how it will solve a specific customer problem.
