These type of buses shouldn't ply that bridge.They are obsolete and should be replaced.

No my dear, that's not how it works. A bridge of that length must be an 'highway'. Because it must not be carrying to much weight consistently which happens when there's traffic on the it. So, it's better and saver when it's free and vehicles travel at high speed on it. All, that's required is good maintenance, security on the bridge and emergency facilities.
