Meet South African actress, film maker and fashion designer Mmabatho Montsho. She was born on October 19, 1983 in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. She has two brothers and a sister. She spent her childhood years in Carletonville, the Free State and the City of Ekurhuleni.

She attended Greenside High School, and started her own fashion label after school called Black Olive Designs with her high school friend, designing and selling clothes at the B&B Rooftop market. Their line was displayed at SA Fashion Week 2004.
