A lot of Nigerian's have been getting on the nerve of the National Team players after their poor performance in the opening game of the World Cup against Croatia on Saturday.

These angry Nigerians followed up any player who posted on Instagram with insults and derogatory comments. Some even wished ogun to kill them and amadioha to strike them.

The latest to be insulted is Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogun.

The Midfielder posted an inspirational quote on his handle, but he got tonnes of insult to his surprise. He hit's back at a fan who said he should quit social media.

The Super Eagles were blown away in their opening group D game and are currently the only team in the group without a point.

With just two games left against Argentina and Iceland, the team faces an uphill task to scale through the group.

Sometimes I question the selection of these players. Who selected them for world Cup??

Some countries actually discourage players from accessing social media. Players are not allowed to see their wives and girls during these period.
