A non-political organization, known as Goodluck for Good Governance (3G), comprising mainly of youths from Northern extraction, spread across the three geo-political zones in the North have backed calls for President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2011 presidential elections.

The group said one year would not be enough for the completion of the projects which will transform the lives of the downtrodden in the country, hence the need for president Jonathan to continue beyond 2011.

Speaking with journalist in Kano, the chairman of the organisation, Alhaji Kabiru Wada Kura, promised that the group would mobilise support for Jonathan in the forthcoming general elections, saying they are satisfied with his display of leadership qualities, particularly in the energy sector which has led to a boost in power supply in the country.

Kura argued that his group, with the motto: “Vision 2011 Goodluck Nigeria, ” is championing the campaign for Jonathan to contest the presidential elections in 2011 to enable him execute laudable human-oriented programmes he has introduced.

@poster,
i don't see 3 G as been enough so u can make it 10 G or more.
remember, obasanjo had 8 uninterupted years and told us it was not enough hence the need for third term. jonathan can make his claims with what he will do in the one year but if it is the case of not been enough, no number of years can be enough for a nigerian politician.
for now, jonathan is playing the role as scripted by obasanjo. all obasanjo boys are back and imposed on us as usual without minding the constitution of the federal repiublic of nigeria.
the truth of the matter is that nairalanders believe obj is the best president of nigeria and on that platform, no one is expecting anyone to be better than the best.
