No, you said you liked Messi more than Nigeria. It is the same imperialist tendency that has crippled Africa and yet we turn around and lament our dependence on foreign things.

You expect so much from your country but ordinary loyalty in one game, you fail to show. Let me see you lament ever again about failed political promises and I will refer you to this post.

One year, it was published that Rivers state is dangerous for foreigners. I am from Rivers. Rivers state is dangerous even for locals and it is a fact.

Now, Gov. Wike responded that Rivers state is safe for foreigners. That was a political/diplomatic statement. In his mind, he knows that Rivers is not safe, and he only said that because they are foreigners. If he really believes deep down that Rivers is safe, then that'll be worrying as hell.

The first step to improving is realizing your flaws, next is accepting it. If you fail to as much as realize your flaws, you will never improve.

He means he love Messi more than Super Eagles. That doesn't make him less patriotic or inferior, after all, there are footballers that played against their country for their adopted countries. Alex of Japan is a Brazilian that played for Japan and played against Brazil in 2006 world cup

Deco is a Brazilian that not only played against Brazil but scored a powerful free kick when both sides met in friendly.

Jerome Boateng played against Ghana in 2010 even against his own biological brother.

How much more supporters?

I love Messi more than Super Eagles (not Nigeria) and I want him to win the world cup. He has made me happy for more than a decade unlike Super Eagles that almost gave me high blood pressure in 2002.

Other than super eagles, I'm starting to root for Belgium
I'm rooting for Argentina (due to Messi factor). Alternatively, any other team that has Barca player grin

However, I won't feel bad if Portugal win it due to the impressive display of Ronaldo.

You are not alone.

All true Barcelona fans must Stand With Messi though he disappointed us against Iceland and Croatia but he is our legend. He made football worth watching for us since 2005 (when I started watching him), he is the true el-Messiah.

Super Eagles on the other hand has caused me more pains than joy, I rather stick with the one that has been giving me joy even when I'm down.

Like seriously so you want Argentina to win just cos of Messi

Too bad of you
Unfortunately, YES! Super Eagles hasn't given me the kind of joy that Messi has been giving me since 2005.

Meanwhile;

Gloria Anozie a sprinter for Nigeria ditched Nigeria to win medals for Spain. It's about what gives one joy.

How much more supporters?

I love Messi more than Super Eagles (not Nigeria) and I want him to win the world cup. He has made me happy for more than a decade unlike Super Eagles that almost gave me high blood pressure in 2002.

And who made it a rule that in football you MUST support your own Country??Brazilians against Germany Clapped and Supported Shurrle when he scored the 7th Goal.Ronaldinho has been given a standing Oviation for his performance by Madrid fans and Ronaldo was applauded when he scored that goal against Juventus.I could go On and On.This is football. You support Who you think will win regardless of your Country or Club.Doesn't make you less patriotic or a fan.Cheers
