NYSC Kaduna Coordinator Commissions Landmark Corps Project, Initiator Bags Chieftaincy Title . . . The serene rural community of Fadia, Tudun Wada in Zango Kataf Council of Kaduna state, came alive today (21/06/18), as NYSC state coordinator commissioned a Corps Lodge project initiated and completed by a corps member in the area. It was a glorious moment at the Govt. Secondary School, Fadia when the block of three - rooms, complete with in - built toilets and kitchens erected in the school by Miss Onyinyechi Beauty Solomon was opened. Amid encomiums, the diligent NYSC member from Abia state said the project was her little effort to address one of the challenges that confronted her community of service. With the lodge in place, she said the community will never lack the presence of NYSC members to drive development efforts in the area. The ceremony witnessed by parents of Miss Onyinyechi who came from their base in Rivers state, attracted a large turn out of appreciative indigenes of the area, government representatives, NYSC staff and corps members. In appreciation, Miss Onyinyechi Solomon was conferred with the chieftaincy title of GIMBIYA Fadia ( a lady of worth in the King's palace). Addressing the visibly delighted indigenes and guests who attended the event, SC Walida Siddique Isa, described Gimbiya Beauty Solomon as a shining star among her peers.
