I kept my iPad Air Home for a couple of days and when I tried to use it it refused to come on.

I've held down the Home and Power button for 60s after charging over night, Ive held down the power for as long as possible too but no change.

I noticed if I conect it to itunes it was detecting it so I downloaded iOS 12.1.3, put it in DFU mode and did a restore via iTunes (Which was successful).

It still isn't coming up.

What else can I do?

Naija matter tire me eh! Yea the 87 might see me through the year but I just want to have a contingency incase...then again I might sell off the phone before the battery gets noticeably worse and upgrade to any of the current X models..the price would have come down by then..

Haha i'm sure used iphone X in particular will be priced at 80k best, considering iphone 6 is nothing less than 45k in 2019 after 5 years of release, so...

sounds more like screen. When u were updating with iTunes did the screen show progress? Like the white/dark background with black/white line showing ur progress bar?

yes they can check it and if it shows u pay if it didn’t u give them the screen back. Before then find a dark place use a flashlight and flash it on the screen. Look closely and check if u can see anything. Then again there is a probability that the phone fell and the screen flex cable shifted so when u get there they should remove ur screen connector and put it back to know if it will come up

My fingerprint is no more working on the phone and it used to work

Oh Cupid , I forgot to tell you that I’ve upgraded to v2.1 and I’m enjoying it . Fast and reliable . The battery strength is very much okay unlike complaints of battery draining on iOS 12 by first upgraders .

The only thing I don’t like is that apple removes the 2g area from the iOS 12.1 which is quite unfortunate because I love 2g.

I have been notified of the new 12.1.2 update but haven’t done that update yet.

why do you like 2g?
