Can someone please tell me the reason why my google photos keep doubling my pictures after restarting my phone and I just hate the fact that it automatically downloads people status update which I don't need..

In my own case i didn't get the sim
I bought their mifi Router

And i remove the sim and placed it on infinix note 5
And it worked.

Thumbnails, goto dcim folder and delete the thumbnails folder. Its a hidden folder


thumbnails and status update have always been on every phone storage taking space, some phone gallery app not just showing them to you because the folder they are in is hidden.......

Any solution

Look for .nomedia file in any of the folders, copy it and paste it in the dcim folder, it won't show in photos

Depends on the file manager you are using

For Google files, goto settings and select show hidden files/folder. Then Navigate to the camera folder (DCIM) you are going to see the thumbnails folder, delete the entire thumbnails folder
