Abdulmumin, one of the sons of the late Moshood Kashimao Olawale, MKO Abiola, has been defeated in his quest to become the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress.

Abubakar L. Shayyu floored the late business mogul’s son and other contestants at the just concluded party’s congress in Abuja.

Abdulmumin had explained that he joined the race because of his belief in the ruling party and that he had what it takes to give the youths the much-needed direction to move the nation forward.

According to him, since he returned to the country in 2007, he had always been thinking about how to contribute to the system and make a difference.

“I want to make my own mark, I have consulted widely before declaring my interest”, the aspirant said.

Results of the elections conducted at the two-day national convention of ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, were released on Sunday.

This is the key fact. It seems like the key politicians don't want to do anything for them because they are too many. If you settle one now, others will come up so it it better to just ignore them.

Or how do you see it?

When did he join the party?
The guy needs to learn patience and be consistent with a party, he's fond of jumping parties.
His time and chance will come, but loyalty and focus is key.

Old party members that have been in the party from the days of ANPP, APP, CPC and finally APC should be sent to the background so that MKO's son will get a position. Is that how you do in your drugs and crime region?
