There is no justification at this period a leader should smile let alone laugh when his citizens has just been brutally massacred.

Seems we like pretence. It would seem like whenever there's another killing it'll be OK for them to just show up, shed some tears, say some consoling words and fold their arms until the next massacre.

The primary role of government is national security. No political leanings or economic statistics can substitute for lives being lost wantonly to a murderous group whose medieval economic interest has been exalted by their kindred in the presidency and security agencies, above the lives of the natives who own their own land.
