Once you obtain your Letter of Credit or Bank Comfort Letter from your international export buyer, we would source funds for you to ship with... NEXIM bank is also our close partner. This is actually not difficult. We have access to a lot of clients who are constantly in need of products depending on what you want to export... We also have websites where we get clients. These websites are solely for the purpose of international trade, import and export.. There are many clients on the sites who would do business with you if you show apt understanding of export/import business and actually have good products to offer... Export is very, very interesting and lucrative...

Please for the purposes of time, I would not be able to send any email detailing the export process to anyone. I would try my best to hold lectures here if there is enough interest... I run an international trade consultancy and still do export myself... This is for those who actually have passion for import/export but see it as excessively cumbersome or maybe don't have the finances to export... Also, there are those who have money to invest, but are very scared of the hostile business environment in Nigeria... If you belong to any of these two sets of people, start smiling... Your worries are over...

Do you know that last year alone, my company grossed over $400,000 in profit from our exports alone... Note that this is not inclusive of money made acting as an export consultant/facilitator commonly referred to as a middleman... Evidences abound for these assertions. They are no joke... Export is an untapped landmine.. Now is actually the best time to export because of the following reasons: 1. Forex is still very high. 2.Very few people actually indulge in export now. 3. Very, very negligible risk involved. 4. Access to clients from USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East and even Africa... This makes your business limitless...

Oga kindly correct that bogus figure of #300% ROI. It's misleading. Unless you're pushing weed and the senior cousins.

Please if you know more about export and feel my claims are somewhat bogus.. I can step aside while you lecture us on export using actual and worthy parameters...

The following products are hotcake now and have very many potential international buyers..

1. Raw and processed Cashew nuts... Countries that have interested clients include China, Vietnam and India

2. Bitter Kola... Same clients as No 1..

3. Palm oil... Very much needed in Malaysia, Taiwan, Dubai and Singapore

4. Fish... Very much needed all over the world...

Please don't be offended. I am not sending anything to anybody for personal reasons. Just stay glued to this thread and ask your relevant questions here... I would do my best to pour my entire export knowledge and experience here. I would even guide people who are very much interested in this to earn their first export revenue right here... That's the best I can do.

Okay Sir. I have clients who need cocoa in large quantity possibly up to 1000 metric tones. Believe me, over the years of my indulgence in export, I have built a large client base for different products so if you are serious, I would link you up with several albeit on a private basis. However, please note that this should be the least of your problems if you are a novice exporter. There are processes you must undergo to achieve a successful export business in Nigeria so as not to lose your resources and waste your time. These are a few of them...
1. You must have a company registered by Corporate Affairs Commission.
2. You must have an exporter's license from Nigeria Export Promotion Council.
3. Another Export Certificate from Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service.
4. Another Certificate of Clearance from NAFDAC.
These are just a few... So you see why I said that clients are the least of your issues if you are a novice exporter? However, you have no worries in getting these documents as that is why I am here. I have contacts who facilitate these processes in all relevant parastatals and organisations and would make use of them to ensure total ease in getting these documents at NO cost for interested people..

Quick fact: Do you know that the current Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Export Promotion Council is Mr Segun Awolowo, a grandson of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and a first cousin to Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, the wife of the current Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo?
