As at when publishing this, Davido is in Ile-Ife, Osun state for his SOS (Son Of the Soil) Concert.

Davido, being a cultured Yoruba boy and also from Osun, paid the the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, a courtesy visit visit immediately he got to Ile-Ife.

The concert was supposed to hold on the 22nd of June, but later postponed due to “unforseen circumstances” as posted by Davido himself on his official Instagram page.

After the postponement of the concert, students (of Obafemi Awolowo University, Oduduwa University Ile-Ife and so on), and also the indigenes of Ile-Ife have been anticipating his coming. When he arrived, everybody was glad to see him, Celestial members also came to the palace to see him and also followed him as he leaves…
