Teenage goalkeeper Nicolas Tie has signed a professional contract with Chelsea.

The 17-year-old joined the Premier League club last summer from amateur French side Poitiers after being linked to them for years and went on to feature for the Blues' Under 18 team.

After a year in London, the Lille native has now committed to his first senior contract, which sees him tied to the Stamford Bridge side until 2021.

The Blues' first-choice keeper, Thibaut Courtois, is reportedly considering a move back to Spain, with Real Madrid said to be interested.
