We’ve seen television series’ like Desperate Housewives Africa, Fifty, Dere, Sons Of The Caliphate, The Governor from EbonylifeTv, yes. However, the newest show from the production powerhouse, Castle & Castle, is unlike every of those previous shows. The upcoming series isn’t your regular everyday Nigerian television series. Castle & Castle, the new series, is unique in that it is the first indigenously produced Nigerian legal drama series. The show debuts July 1, 2018, and will be exclusive to EbonyLife’s new streaming platform, EbonyLifeOn.

Castle & Castle is largely the about the story of a gorgeous married couple, ‘Remi Castle’ and her husband, Tega – lawyers who run a successful practice in Lagos. The two met 20 years ago when he taught her in law school.
A former law professor, Tega is passionate about human rights. However, as the years have gone by and the nature of the firm has changed, he has had to fight extra-hard to get such cases. Remi is a beautiful, brilliant woman who love her husband, but they have different legal interests. She, unlike her husband, prefers clients with deep pockets and pay massive retainers.

Their marriage is put to the test, as a host of family issues crop up and affect their work. Viewers will see the couple band together against outsiders and fight each other when their individual desires clash. Will their marriage survive Castle & Castle? Or, will it succumb to the pressures of their work environment?

Castle & Castle is produced by Isioma Osaje and Temidayo Abudu for EbonyLife Tv. The directing of the series is handled by Niyi Akinmolayan, Tope Oshin, and Kenneth Gyang.

The series features Richard Mofe-Damijo, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, and, making his acting debut, Fashion personality, Denola Grey.
