Meet Sugar S20 The World’s First Translation Smartphone by Gizmomachine: 6:09am On Jul 05, 2018
French phone company, Sugar has launched what is now known as the worlds first translation smartphone called the Sugar S20. The smartphone is capable of translating about translate in 104 languages, both online and offline translation. What this means, is that the smartphone can still translate normally even if there is no network. It supports text translation in 8 languages, photo translation in 7 languages, and voice translation in 4 languages.

The device features multiple modes which include voice translation, photo translation, text translation, offline translation, ethnic language translation, and multiple modes to meet the choice of various scenarios. Its accuracy is up to 97% thanks to Neural network machine translation NMT technology and natural language processing NLP technology. The Sugar S20 also allows you to connect to a 24-hour online human translation private translator service with one click.

As per the specs of the device, the Sugar S20, features a 6.18-inch FHD+ display and a battery capacity of 3500mAh. The smartphone packs a 4GB RAM, an internal storage capacity of 64GB and it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor. For the cameras, it sports a 12 mega-pixels rear camera with LED flash, and a 16 mega-pixels front shooter.

The Sugar S20 comes with features such as face unlock, fingerprint recognition support and many more. The back panel is made of metal wrapped with a glass body, and an opening at the top designed for a microphone. It is available in Pink, Purple, and Grey colours with a price tag of $301.

No its doesn't rely on Google. The device comes with a Neural network machine translation NMT technology and natural language processing NLP technology. This helps to make translation about 97% accurate.
