Plateau Governor, Simon Lalong has called on electorates not to take their liberty for granted by using their power in choosing the next set of leaders to represent them with the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ahead of the 2019 election. The Governor stated this via his Twitter handle on Thursday morning. “The gains of being in a democratic society are massive. There is nothing better than the freedom of choice of who you want, to carry the mantle of leadership in your community, state, or country. “We must therefore not take this liberty for granted, that is why it is very important for each and everyone of us to vote. “Get your PVC today in preparation for 2019, be a part of the process that institutes the leadership you want; after all, government is not an alien power over us, government is you and I,” he wrote. http://www.politico.ng/dont-take-your-liberty-for-granted-get-your-pvc-and-vote-lalong-tells-electorate/
