In recent years, the economic recession and other economic challenge facing our dear country Nigeria resulted in most organizations downsizing or even closing down entirely leaving millions jobless.

Most companies are now running on a tight budget and as such, cannot afford anymore to invest in staff training.

To make matters worst, since organizations are not able to invest in training, they are now avoiding employing candidates with little or no experience and training.

Conversely, they are only willing to engage candidates that are equipped enough to "hit the ground running" (that is, experienced candidates).

And finally, to cut-cost, organizations are now reducing the number of accountants, secretaries, receptionists, etc. And as such, are now, more than ever before, increasing the quantity and quality of Sales, marketing and business Development people(Commercial Team) in their organizations.

Therein lies the OPPORTUNITY, *Career opportunities in sales is on the INCREASE* while manay other professions are declining in demand.
