Preparations are on for the 2016/2017 graduates of engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta to be inducted into The Nigerian Society of Engineering this Thursday.

The event which is to be held in the College Of Engineering Auditorium of the University will have the inductee take the oath of the society before the National President of NSE and Chairman of the occasion, Engr. Adekunle Mokuolu.

The University's College of Engineering will have this as her fourth induction being organized since its establishment in 2002.

The inducted graduates having undergone 5 years of training will be referred to as Graduate Members of the NSE and cannot yet have the title of engineers. They have to now undergo another 4 years of practice in engineering under a registered engineer and pass the qualifying examination in order to be corporate members and then add the engineer title to their names.

Parents and friends are expected at the occasion and are to be seated by 11.00am.

In the same vein, last month, the University's College of Veterinary Medicine inducted her graduates of Veterinary Medicine.
