I wonder how people pass comprehension can't you read and understand a simple write up the money did not come from these movies but the popularity and fans they have they got from these movies only if you know the way Africa as a whole is crazy about nollywood movies (dstv I doff my hat for una ) when you walk the streets of other African countries and you hear the locals calling you "OGA" or "CHINEKE" the moment they know you are a Nigerian so it is that simple and dont try to bend the argument the male counterparts also enjoy these favours Jim iyke and that abubakar lady saga made headlines so get your facts right stop slut shaming these women

Mother's indeed, thus that warrants the lavish spending?
So because they are mothers, they don't have any right to spend lavishly?

you dont get the point do you I only made reference to the movies not because they made money from the movies ,they got their popularity from there hence the fans and admirers all over Africa and all over the world and for the male counterparts they also enjoy the same benefits from their female fans and admirers .Nollywood is loved in other parts of the world than Nigeria itself know that now ,have you experienced walking on the streets of another country and the moment the locals know you are Nigerian they start calling you "oga" or "Chineke" thanks to dstv Africa magic and social media made it easier to connect with one another .If davido can get a presidential welcome in Gambia and first class treatment from the president himself that explains it all even our own APC governor did he not bring dilish of big brother to naija it is this simple .

If a men spend money on them, does that mean it’s prostituition then?

It is not prostitution ,we are humans and we are meant to have both male and female friends cause we are social beings so getting monetary gifts from your friends and luxurious gifts from them does not make you a prostitute .It baffles me why most people think once they see a male and female socialising the end result is sex na wa ooo

There is nothing wrong in men spending money on women. There is something wrong when girls who obviously cannot maintain a kind of lifestyle, live that lifestyle. This is not even peculiar to these females alone. We see men do it too. Flaunting stuffs on social media and one can't tell what profession or business they do exactly. The next day we are hearing a guy killing a lady for ritual because he wants to be rich. Young girls now choose these girls as role models. Hardwork is loosing it's place. We ought to promote the girl child participation in STEM but some girl is there looking for a rich man. It's killing our creativity, the youth cannot think out of the box pls don't blame the economy now. Social media isn't helping matter either.
flaunting and owning something are too different things .And for you to actually mention money rituals that explains it all no offence MR,when you learn to mind your business and use your time for more productive thinking and self improvement it will do you alot of good than wasting it on trying to figure out what business and profession people do when what they do is obvious and glaring .

If you want to be an olosho, be creative @ least. Do something, let your olosho business have a positive ripple effect. Not snapping in private jet or with channel bags. Impact lives, employ people. Ini should not be on that list.
Can any of these ones present at a Ted event
inorder words, you are very Okay with an Olosho as long as she is a graduate Olosho with an impact. If an Olosho doesn't snap on private jets and wear designers bags she is definitely your preferred Olosho. I like this guy smiley

everyone cannot be like you or your family, where high level of poverty has resulted to moral blindness.

If your daughter buys a car and build a house without any reasonable means of earning, I'm sure you wouldn't care.

Before anyone buys car or builds Houses or even fly private jets/business class. He or she will have to have a good source of income that equates his or her spending.

I have seen fathers that disowns their sons because they built their houses with fraudulent money.

Everyone cannot be blind by money like you. Na people like you with oju kokoro dey turn armed robber.

I am going to do a run down of the top 10 female celebrities in the Nigerian entertainment industry who seem to have big gods, despite being small girls.

One peculiar characteristic of all these women is that they love to spend money extravagantly on material commodities. They seem to have an insatiable taste for expensive shoes, designer bags and luxurious accessories and they are always eager to flaunt them.

Another trait they share is that they travel around the world frequently, and when they do they usually fly first class or business class.

Another striking feature of these women is that the jobs they present to the public as their source of income doesn't square with the kind of money they spend. Certainly their god must be supplying their needs from other directions we don't know of.

The last unique trait they share is that they don't have husbands. Some of them did before but are currently divorced. What this indicates is that their affluence isn't from a husband, but solely a product of their hardwork and the benevolence of their Big god.

I don't know about you guys but I want meet the god of these women. Me sef want to fly first class and tour around the world and buy designers. Their god must really love them sha.

@ boldes, where is the sense in that sentence? How does productive thinking come into play here? That I chose to make a comment means I am not improving myself.... what a foolish thought? Did you see me spend time looking for what they do when it is glaring their activities have no positive impact on the society. Are you a ritualistic? Why do you have a problem with me mentioning ritualist? Successful people give talks and motivations on how to be successful not flaunting backside or items on social media.

don’t misquote me. I didn’t say I am ok with a LovePeddler or a LovePeddler who doesn’t live an extravagant lifestyle. My point is live a life of purpose. Have a positive impact on your environment, create jobs. Build businesses. Get sense... simple

you are being silly here. Are those ladies up there nollywood Top 10. How much is an OAP paid that she flies private jet. I’d daddy freeze not an OAP ;DHow many have been nominated for AMVCA? Did you see Tiwa or Yemi Alade on that list? That’s because they work for their money and people know what they do. Is Jim iyke flying private jet or Ramson. Oga use your sense abeg. Yes, Africans are crazy about nollywood but the people up there are not ones that enjoy favors from fans. The fans they have are the ones they are role models too.

Even in my house sef, I cannot buy normal stuffs without my parents questioning me. It's strange when I see people buy expensive stuff and their folks don't even bother to ask them how they got the money.
