Festivals around the world that should be on your bucket list.

Not so many people travel for a vacation with the aim of experiencing a festival or carnival in another country. But if you are one of those travellers who love to learn new things, experience different cultures, and immerse yourself into the moment, then you are just in time to add to your bucket list countries you should visit to experience the magnificent beauty that is displayed at some festivals around the world.
In this article, you would discover the 5 World Festivals that are worth visiting. Not all of them would suit your preference for a festival or carnival that you would enjoy, but I am sure you would love to experience one or two.

Lollapalooza Music Festival
If you are looking to experience one of the best music festivals soon, then you should not miss the Lollapalooza festival this coming August at the Grant Park in Chicago. The Lollapalooza festival weekend would be one of your best experience yet this year. The event is an annual music festival featuring popular alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip-hop, electronic music band, dance, comedy performance and everything fun and funky all at the same time. If this is the type of festival that gets your adrenaline pumping, then get funded with a quick cash loan, because you don’t want to miss it this year.

Harbin Ice Festival, China
Have you ever imagined that the magnificent ice mansion built by Elsa in the Movie Frozen could be real? My guess is that you couldn’t have imagined that it could be real. But I can assure you that in China, during the Harbin Ice Festival that holds every January, you would see the most beautiful ice figures and castle, that could be as tall as 25 feet and even higher, and you would if you were just allowed to watch a scene from the Frozen 2.
China hosts the World’s largest ice festival and you would be amazed by the exquisite work by the artists who sculpt an entire castle and other ice figures out of ice block.
If this is your type of scene, then you should start target savings account to plan for your trip ahead. You should also know that the best time to experience the real beauty of this scenery is at night when the sculpted arts would be lit up so you could see how astonishing they really are.

Holi, the Festival of Colors
As a child, I used to think that the Holi festival of colours that was portrayed in most of the Indian movies was not real and they were only a part of the script that is intended to add some spice to the movie. Well, my thoughts were as wrong as yours if you also hold that thought. The Holi festival of colours that holds annually in March, is one of the most beautiful scenes you would ever experience. Even if you do not like to get dirty, if you ever attend the festival of colours you would fall in love with the idea of having different colours on your skin and cloth. If this is your type of scene, ensure you go with your own dye, and wear white. White because the blend of different colours on a coloured dress would not be as beautiful as that on a white dress.
If this is not the type of scene you would participate in but love to watch, endeavour to take some pictures of the scene. Not only will your phone fall in love with the colours, your friends would wish they went with you when they see the pictures later.

Lantern Festival Taiwan
In Taiwan, the light goes beyond just being light. Light is an art that comes alive. All over the world, the beauty of light has never been displayed as exquisite as in Taiwan. The magnificent display of light at the Taiwanese festival will make you speechless. You have to be there to feel the magic of a thousand lanterns ascending to the night sky. The celebration is held in the Pingxi District in Taiwan every year in March, and it is the biggest lantern festival in the world. During the last few years, the traditional festival has become more popular, and nowadays both locals and tourists participate in the launching of a thousand lanterns which are astonishing with their innovative and elaborate shapes and sizes. LED lights, laser shows, and colourful light bulbs have also become a part of this beautiful celebration. If you want to experience the wow effect of light, then this should be added to your travel bucket list.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
Asides from football, music is the second thing that brings people of different language, culture and background together, and Coachella Valley Music an Arts Festival happens to be one of those few events that get attendees’ adrenaline pumping way before the event. This is one of the year’s most anticipated and biggest music festival, not just for the world famous musicians that would be performing, but also the most anticipated for millions of people from all over the world that would be attending. Coachella festival week holds once in a year, usually in April in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.

If this is your type of festival, (definitely should be) ensure you plan to attend the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with your friends next year. You could start a target savings plan now with your friends so you do not miss the biggest music festival week next year. Not only would you enjoy good music, you would also get to explore different fashion and art trends during the week of Coachella festival.
