well done, no update again?

thanks for the observation

am sorry my phone contacted virus so am still trying to repair it on tyme..so am using my sisters phone the update might not be frequent like before..please bear with me until everything is sorted out...

THE WEDDING DAY
he yawned and stretched on the bed it was 5:30am in the morning,he looked around and saw emeka sleeping and snooring beside,look at the idiot who was supposed to wake him up,he was going to be his best man for the occassion.there were his other friends also who was going to assist him in during other task for that day.they had helped him prostrate in front of the bride's parents during the traditional wedding.all of them were asleep like a dead wood.and it has been his daily routine to wake up very early and exercise.he usually runs.so today was not to be an exception.he put on his trianers wore a bib and a short knickers and slowly headed out.he usually runs from apata to sango..so he began jogging even though he knew he had to prepare for the wedding..he saw a sharp corner and he decided to take it..but he stopped abruptly he heard faint sounds coming from somewhere close but he wasnt sure where it was coming from.he saw a big waste bin,he moved slowly to the waste bin as it became more clearer,at the back he saw a young lady in a pool of her own blood.it was a stab wound.what was he going to do?this lady needs help only God knows what happened to her.he decided that instead of keaving her to die there,he was going to help her,she carried her and headed to the main road hoping to see a cab or a motorcycle but unfortunately he found none,and he could notice that her pulse was getting weaker and weaker,if the woman should give up the ghost he would be in serious trouble.but he couldnt just leave her there,he prayed for help to come.as he stood by the roadside looking left and right frantically hoping help might come,just then a cab was coming there way,he dropped the woman on the floor and waved the cab,the old man parked right in front of him.he ran to him."good morning sir,please i need your help sir"the man looked at him suspiciously and nodding for him to continue."please help me drive me and this lady to the hospital she is in a critical condition"the man came down slowly and saw the lady lieing on the floor in a pool of blood,he gasped at the sight,he got into his car turned the ignition and zoomed off leaving a cloud of dust behind.at this point there was nothing he could do about it since no one was ready to help because of the implications involved and it was almost day and people will start coming out of thier houses to go to thier respective work place.it seems this was the best he can do.he leaned to the yound lady and looked at her she had a pointed nose,and she was fair in complexion.he looked at her.please young lady forgive me,i wish i could help you but i cant.am sorry but i hope you will meet a good samaritan to help you"he stood up to start going but the lady held her..what the hell!he could get the message she was pleading with him to help her.as fate would have it a cab was coming,this was the only shot,if this doesnt work then he will have no choice but to leave the woman there.he waved the man down,he explained to the man everything that happend he helped them and she was rushed to the hospital.on getting there she was attended to and rushed to the operating unit,with surgeons already waiting.the doctor asked him to wait,which he did,by this time it was morning already and he was sure everyone must have woken up and will already be looking for him..he relaxed on the chair provided for visitors and he waited and prayed to God for divine help concerning the mysterious woman he just brought in.....TBC

he was sweating profusely,even though the weather was cool,he had woke up earlier around 6am and didnt find richard,he had thought he went out to urinate,but when he saw he didnt return he went and saw no trace of him.he woke the other guyz immediately and they started looking for him.when they couldnt find him,they were confused and didnt know what to do.what a quandary!soon the car that was going to take them to the chruch were the service was going to hold would soon arrive.emeka was deep in thoughts.what could have happened?did he run away?if he did,it doesnt make any sense.his phone began to ring it was catherine on the line..damn it!what was he going to tell her.if he had truly ran away how would she she feel.he picked the call.'hello.'she continued i hope everything is okay.dont worry the car will soon arrive,i hope you guyz are ready'as he was about to talk he saw richard coming,he looked carefully and saw blood stains on his clothe.he heaved a sigh as he saw he was okay.'catherine,i will call you back.'he hanged up as he rushed to meet him while they other guyz followed suit..'where did you go that you left us all worried.what happened?and why is blood on your clothes'he looked at his clothes,apparently he wasnt aware of that..'its a long story,i will tell you guyz later.we almost getting late'.they watched him as he went inside.the guyz looked at themselves and shook thier heads while they quickly went to get ready for the ceremony....****

'will you richard williams take catherine omar as your lawfully wedded wife,to love and to cherish,in health and in sickness till death do you part'.silence...his mind was far away as he felt a gentle tap on his shoulders,he looked around he had totally forgotten that he was on the altar as he was wasnt sure this was the right thing to do,faking a wedding all because they wanted to fulfill the wish of a diening man.he really hadnt thought things through before doing it,but there was no going back.he was jolted back to reality when she spoke quietly enough for him to hear..'richard.is everything okay?..'of course he answered her.he smiled at the priest who was confused as to what is going on..he smiled at him and told him to say the vows once more.he repeated it and he said'i do'.he faced catherine and said the same to her and she responded with 'i do.the preist smiled as they also exchanged rings.'you may now kiss your bride'.he drew her closer as he covered her mouth with his in a sweet kiss.it almost looked as if his heart was going to burst out.when they detached there was a loud cheer followed by a round of appplause.they both went to sit on the decorated seat provided,as the master of the ceremony continued with other agenda for the programme.she asked him."what was wrong the other time?"he pretended as if he didnt know what she was talking..what are you talking about?..i mean when the priest was reading the vows,your mind seemed far away?what is wrong"...he didnt want to talk but he had to."am okay,dont worry about me"with that she pursued the matter no further...****

so many dignitaries were present at the ceremony the minister of finance,minister of works and infrastructure to name a few,he wondered how mr anthony omar managed to get this kind of connections he was really a big gun in the society there was no doubt about that.during the ceremony he sighted sandra seated amomgst her friends he smiled.the m.c announced that it was time for gifts,anyone who was to give the newly wedded couple gifts should come forward.he was astonished by the gr8 turn out of people,he couldnt believe his eyes,so many kinds of gift which was wrappe beautiful and brought forward.the minister of finance came forward and held the mike."on behalf of my family and friends i donate this car to the new couples,i wish them fruitful marriage and i pray they be will never part and thier union which God has blessed shall remain till death do them part"he took the car keys and handed it over to richard,as the camera men did there job..he sat down and wondered in awe as people continued donating cars and other stuffs.when the time for gift was gone it was time for well wishers to dance with the couples.the dance began as people stood and sprayed them money both in naira and foreign currency.like mrs anthony said the wedding was one of a kind.it was perfect....

the party came to an end,he was talking with his best man and his other friends when catherine walked up to him.."honey,my dad wants to see both of us,he said there is something he wants to tell us".he noded and he followed herafter telling his friends that he was coming back.they got to his car,the door was opened as his wife sat beside him eating fried rice with chicken.
"my son.he began now you are about to embark on a journey of eternity,am sure you know its not a joke.now you will only live for ur wife and she also for you,whenver she offends you,weda she is wrong or you are find a way to always make peace reign in your house,this has always helped me,i make sure she is happy,thats why we have been together for this long,and one key to success in marriage is patience,there is always a saying that two wrongs cant make a right.take care of her very well she is the apple of my eye."he heaved a sigh of releif as he let those words sink in,he was going to make use of it once he gets married...he looked at catherine and smiled at her,she smiled back"and one more thing,he brought out a key and gave it to them.there is a mansion at challenge side,this are the keys to the house.consider this as my wedding gift to you and there is a car in the compound,am sure you will like the house,and your best man knows the place he will take you there,and lest i forget"he brought out a plane ticket for two and gave it to him,thats a trip to paris,you can have your honeymoon there,am sure you will like it.the weather is nice..catherine was lost of words as she hugged him tightly.thank you so much for this dad,i really appreciate it"she pecked him.thank you also mummy,you guyz made me hap...her mom drank the juice as she finished eating."just make sure you listen to all what ur father said,it will be very useful..she smiled "of course.i will remember all what you said.she immediately saw her friends,and went to meet them,while richard also went looking for emeka his best man*****TBC

he couldnt believe what he was seeing,right in front of him was the mansion his father-in-law was talking about,he opened his mouth in awe at the sight,he was expected to live here,in this big house,emeka had drove them to the house like he said there was a car which was parked and covered with a large clothe,he wondered which kind of car it was he remover it and it revealed a brad new venza,this was his dream car,the car he had always admired and wanted to buy.the compound was big enough to build another house entirely and there was a modern hut,which was for relaxing,this was perfect.they all went in together,the sitting was very spacious as it had a small bar with different kinds of wine stocked in it,there was a 64inches plasma t.v hung on the wall and a stereo.with the little he had just seen he was really going to enjoy his stay here.he located the bedroom as he put his bag insde the giant wardrobe.when he came back catherine just sat on the settee playing with her phone.emeka stood up indicating he was ready to go.he escorted him to the gate and locked the door.soon they would have to get a security man and a gateman,a maid who would take care of the house and other things.he went back inside and still met her sitiing there.he walked past her but her voice stopped him,he lloked back and saw her staring at him
"do you have something to say?"she looked at him careful beforely talking.."please we need to talk,i wont take much of your time"..he wondered what she wanted to say,so he sat down and waited patiently for her,she watched as she dropped her phone beside her and faced her"what do you want us to do with the tickets my dad gave to us?"he looked left and right and wondered what kind of questions was that"what kind of questions is that,of course we should go,your dad paid a lot of money for tht ticket thats the least we can do,or dont you want to go?its a perfect place for relaxation"she quickly..of course i want to its just that i thought you wont want to go"..of course i want to go."he heaved a sigh and stood up.is that what you wanted to talk about.."yes..am going to have a shower..he walked back into the bedroom humming a song****TBc
