Since the existence of the University of Ilorin, for the 1st time a Medical student has emerge the Student Union president.

The institutions has reportedly existed for 43 years, and a Medical student has never made it to the list, but this time history was made as ANIMASHAUN Oluseyi Emmanuel, a 500l Medicine and Surgery student topped the list with over 5000 votes.


It is said that in most Institutions, the Medical students are usually sidelined when it comes to social affairs, but Emmanuel, is said to be a very intelligent and well cultured young man who knows how to carryout his onus and he’s there to make a difference, It was also reported that the college of health sciences have been in her best moment since the success of the election.
