I'm so sorry to hear this. There are 2 likely reasons for the cancellation
1. Sometimes buyer win auction far lesser than the price the seller intended to sell

2. While the item is on sales on eBay, they are trying physical sales too, the item might have been sold before the auction ended

But whichever way, you need not to get angry, there are better deals at all times. You'll surely get another.
