UK-based TheyFit has developed a staggering 66 different sizes of custom-fit condom – and has even produced a special measuring tape to ensure customers get exactly the right size.A company claims to have designed the world’s smallest condom.

Its smallest style comes in at 4.92in (12.5cm) long and has a width of 1.8in (4.5cm). A typical condom is 7.1in (18cm) long and 2in (5.2cm) wide.

Using the wrong size condom not only affects enjoyment, but can also raise the risk of disease and pregnancy, health experts warned.

It pointed out that even ‘smaller’ styles from the industry leaders – such as Durex ‘Close Fit’ and Lifestyles ‘Snugger’ – still measure at more than 7in long.

Packaging also provides width measurements based on the ‘nominal width’ – the width of the condom while flat and out of the packet – rather than the ‘circular width’ – once it has been extended – making it difficult for men to calculate the correct size.
