I was at this event live in NewYork...

Twas fun but could be much much better and richer in content.

Obasanjo preaching on the Holy Spirit as a comforter to Christians was revealing...if you can manage to separate the message from the messenger.

The Ooni of Ife did a good job with his speech on promoting peace.

The three MCs though we're really irritating with their repeated adulation of Obasanjo and the Ooni...especially the young female one.

Genesis sef started to sound like those American pastors but he did well.

Afin Ara still remains the best lead vocal in the celestial church of Christ in the USA.

And to the woman whom God is using to bring all these to pass...may God almighty reward you mightily.

Nigeria is hosting the next edition next year and God willing I will be there.

Hopefully the Celestial Family in the USA will take a cue from this and come up with an annual retreat for us all.

White garment Church anywhere in the world is the creation of Yorubas. It is a different kind of worship from orthodox Church and worship. It is direct intercession with God in acknowledgement of nature and cosmic forces. You will not find white people there because they do not believe anyone can go to God without first passing through a white man.

Refer back to Ebenezer Obey's song about the man, his son and the donkey. Human nature is discriminatory but wisdom prevails to filter the discriminating senses and bring it into harmony with the spirit.

Bad spirit is when the discriminate and wisdom are in state of disharmony as you noticed here.

Let me not derail this nice and good thread.

When grandma in village put on her eyegear and she can see her child in far away city and when in danger she becomes aware and go get tortoise and monkey skull and dedicate to gods for protection....and everything was well. We label her witch instead of supporting her.

Now google designed a eyegear that you wear to monitor your child abroad and it alerts you of dangers. You can call police and tell them location so they can go aid and rescue your child. We embrace it and call it technology, we pay for it to use. We never label google a witch.
