The World Cup happens every 4 years

Before the World cup Finals there is a contest for who should Host it and this can sometimes be controversial too .Russia hosted the last one and the one after that will be in Qatar for both those host countries there were of course bdders who lost respectiely; the UK and the USA.
This is a matter of great National pride especially when hosted successfully. Contrast that with the shambolic games now taking place at Asaba.
So pained was the US at their bid loss and the double humiliation of a Russia award that they put in place another bid and publicly demanded that Nigeria support their bid. They have now won the right to host the 2026 games. The Russia and Qatar bids were slammed in the Western media
"Tainted!! Fraudulent !! " etc FBI Police started investigating Blatter and in the end he was kicked out, others followed and some were jailed.

In Nigeria you have a lot of debate about who should be the INEC chairman ,where is he from who is his in-law and his brother.
Then the election timetable .That sounds quite simple and straigtforward? For where? The whole nation is debating the constitution . INEC released timetable National Assembly reversed it then the High court unreversed and now the appeal court has reunreversed again and we are so dizzy we are not sure which gear we are in right now.Is it reverse or Gear 1
OK go and register / Ha !! Nigerians are screaming they have brought people from Niger to register . Pregnant women are registering their pregnancy in Bauchi. We cannot register in Ebonyi.
