There are volumes and volumes of magazines advising girls how to form (or how to become a "new feminist" and not form", and many variations and combinations thereof. There are volumes of men trying to figure out why women play "hard to get". Just the fact that the term and practice exist in European languages (e.g. English) should suggest that their women form too.

A lot of our social norms and behavior have a strong basis in biology, so I concur with OyinO
