That is why govt is very low and sometimes not working. the civil service is the cause. NYSC has imparted more to the lives of students they think than some of the full time civil servants called teachers. FACT!
You're the one who needs growing up. corp members come with updated knowledge to teach the pupils while the old teachers there rely on their outdated teaching technics, most not ready to upgrade either. Show me which department of govt that work on personal development.

why do we take such a rumour at face value. It would 've been a good news if and only if that is true. Pls disregard any news paper agent, whether APC, PDP, OPC, OYO,OBJ ,IBB...( you know the rest) that says NYSC allowee has been increased as that is fallacy of the first order. So many news papers said...the FG is working towards increasing that. While other said ..the increament will be determined by the minimum wage of civil servants. Pls let us not loose focus.

If you leave minimum wage at 19,800# then you will create a very complex scenerio where even market women will start forging certificate just to participate in NYSC, you'll start to meet people that have 10 years experience in NYSC, there will be no space for new graduates to serve their country because the camps will be filled with former NYSC members who have graduated and don't have jobs or earn bare minimum.

The allawee is a mirror of the government wage. That means civil servants salaries has been increased. Minimum wage now should be around 45,000.

This is unaffordable and the naira will sink in value.

It was such a senseless wage increase in 2011 from 5,500 to 18,000 that set the stage for many of today's fiscal woes.

There was never a time the allawee was increased from #5500 to #18000.
The 2010/2011 increase was from #10000+ to the current one of #19800 before bank charges.
