Marketing, Sales and Business Development is perhaps the most popular job field as long as the Nigerian Labour Workforce is concerned. Many graduates who studied other unrelated courses are sometimes pushed to take up a position in the field when they can’t get a job in the desired area of interest. Distinctions among the three Professions
Marketing is the intermediary function between product development and sales. It is comprised of many facets and activities. A Marketer’s job thus will be to take a “generic” product or service and associate that product or service with a brand name.

And then to go out and exploit those opportunities to bring in more revenue. Thus, the field can be referred to as a cousin of marketing and sales.
