There are indications that the Federal Government may name the most senior Director in the Department of State Service (DSS), Matthew Seiyefa, as the Acting Director General. Seiyefa, from Bayelsa State arrived the Presidential Villa in an official SUV at 4pm, clutching a file and was received at the entrance by the ADC to the Acting President. Shortly after, the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, also arrived, and walked briskly into Osinbajo’s office. Magu, however was seen rushing out at about 4:40pm, as State House Correspondents, tried to catch up with him for an interview.

Our civic duty is to ensure this government is voted out in 2019. All lovers of democracy must work towards that goal to forestall anarchy due to misgovernance by current administration.

Going forward, the presidency should carry out a comprehensive overhaul of Aso rock's kitchen cabinet and the entire security architecture of the country. Saying that Daura was one of the albatrosses of this government is an understatement. He acts like he holds all the aces, and rightly so, because Buhari acts very dumb sometimes, sadly. Imagine the president sending a nominee to the Senate and Daura, an appointee of same president writing an uninvited memo to disqualify the person. He bet it that Buhari would not react and truly he didn't, showing gross weakness on the part of Buhari.
