during my childhood days,i left school with two of my friends,and we went to a river not too far from my school.we climbed angala(mangrove) and jumped the same time into,a river of about 70 to 100fts.i swum out,but my two friends didn't make it out of that river.still scary of very event,couple with what i saw beneath the water.

It was a long time ago, still in secondary school. I used to go fetch water early in the morning at the Junction, about 500 metres from the house. Everybody in the area does so there's usually some bit of traffic at the tap. I don't like to get late to school so I devised a means to help myself - I wake up about 30 minutes or so earlier than others. My mum warned me against doing that but I just felt nothing can happen. I had a whole drum to fill up!

Fast forward

I got to the tap as usual, earlier than others. I had fetched my bucket and was on my way home when I saw this fairly large white cat, right in the middle of the road, walking towards me. It was some distance away, I continued walking hoping it would make a detour. It didn't. When it dawned on me that it won't go away, and it was getting closer, I stood transfixed, I looked around, nobody in sight, the cat was still strolling majestically towards me. Then all of a sudden it disappeared! It didn't walk away, it vanished. I wiped my face with my fingers to check Yes! The cat is gone! With reckless abandon I threw my bucket away with the water and sped home. Who said Usain Bolt can run? My other bucket at the tap, no be me go carry am.

Since that day, I don't ever fetch water in the dark, whether evening or dawn, Never! Who said paranormal stuff do not exist? Abeg they do.

You wont believe me if I told you but there was one night I came back home and I was very hungry. I opened my fridge to get some food and you wont believe what I saw... it was absolutely empty.

I slept hungry that night. I could have died. This happened around July 2013; I still remember that date like it was yesterday.

It was the day I was robbed, I was dragging my bag with the robbers on the street and they brought out gun and threatened to shoot me, damn! I was so scared I had to give them the bag.
