A Nigerian Twitter user Ore decided to take action after a Taxify driver bragged to him about sexually assaulting a female passenger who was drunk while in his cab.

Taxify has now reportedly removed the driver from their platform and would hopefully take further meaningful action.

Read what the man wrote below;
"A Taxify driver just confidently told me that he picked up an inebriated passenger and molested her sexually while she was under the influence.

Apparently, the woman, riding in the front seat, was wearing a short skirt and her privates were exposed.

"I fingered her," he said.

Of course, there's no proof.

Of course, he's blaming the woman's 'carefree' behaviour for his criminality.

It's ridiculously easy to get away with abuse in a society that doesn't respect people's rights to their own bodies.

Update: @Taxify_ng has reached out to me and I have given them all the information I have about the case.

They've acted very sensibly by first pulling the driver off the road, then going ahead with a proper investigation.

No one is playing with this, as it should be."

If story happens to be true, why will someone stoop that low just because she was drunk....pretty sure if he had told someone else like him, the nitwit will hail him as being "sharp" or "not dulling" and then proceed to laugh it off. I will never understand why some humans cannot just do the right thing.

Some of the comments are quite disheartening. Bro code, Snitch etc. Guys you can be/do better. Even if sense is evading you, just put a family member of yours in her shoes, i bet you'd summon thunder to strike the driver. Let that proposed rage adjust your mindset.
